My Dream About Long Road

July 28, 2010

There are many mysterious things in life. We all try to learn those things, in some we may succeed while in some we may fail. One of the many such mysterious things in our life is about dreams. For me, dreams are representations of our subconcious and that they have a hidden meaning that we are left to discover for ourselves.

Few months ago, I dreamed that I was walking on a very long, winding and curvy road. I was very hungry, tired, sweating and thirsty. Then when I reached the end of the road, I saw a man standing. I couldn't see his face because he was not facing me. I asked his name, then he slowly turned around and it was freaky he was my beloved Grandfather. He was dressed in a suit, looked perfectly, like nothing was ever wrong. I wanted to say something, but as soon as I was ready to talk he disappeared. In the dream I started to get really nervous and scared. Then I woke up, but I was still extremely frightened. It was like it had really just happened in reality.

Unfortunately, this dream really disturbed me a lot because it was about a road and it involved a Grandfather of mine. According to the dream theory I just read, a Road means " difficulties" and for the Grandfather is "symbolizes all of the encouragement that is instilled in me. I have confidence in myself and do not need to hear it from other people."
